Ham and Cheese Potato Soup

Peel potatoes, cut into small pieces 3 cups
3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons finely chopped sweet onion
3 tablespoons flour
3 cups milk
1 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese
1 cup chopped ham
1/2 teaspoon salt
Pepper to taste

1, using the medium soup pot, cook potatoes until fully cooked and soft.
2, to retain good cup of boiled potatoes, then drain.
3. In a small skillet, saute onion until onion transparent.
4. Add butter and flour together in a pot and stir with a small fire to make soup thickened
5, add the potatoes, add the milk, cheese and ham into the soup pot and cook over medium heat 30 to 40 minutes, stirring frequently, until thickened, accompanied by corn bread or fresh bread. Decorative with cheese.
