Creamed spinach



material:

3 lbs chopped spinach
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 onion, chopped
1/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
1 cup heavy cream
2 cups milk
1.5 cups shredded cheese
1 tablespoon coarse salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

practice:

1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
2, melt butter in a heavy pan and saute over medium heat.
3. Add the onion, and saute until translucent, about 5 minutes.
4, add the flour and nutmeg and stir for 2 minutes.
5. Add the cream and milk and cook until thickened.
6, add the spinach to the sauce. Add 1/2 cup shredded cheese and mix well. Add salt and pepper.
7, spinach into the baking dish, sprinkle with remaining shredded cheese on the surface. Bake for 20 minutes to complete
